Randolph County experiences Inventory increase in 2025’s Fourth Quarter Housing Market

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. – Increased inventory highlights Randolph County’s 2025 fourth quarter housing market.

Asheboro had 128 homes on the market, up 68.4 percent from 76 during the same time period in 2024. Randolph County saw 323 homes for sale, a 32.4% increase from 244.

New listings also increased, with Asheboro adding 164 homes, a 37.8% rise from 119 during 2024’s fourth quarter. Randolph County reported 391 new listings, up 13.3% from 345. Asheboro’s months’ supply of inventory grew to 3.5, an 75% increase from two months during the same time period in 2024. Randolph County’s months’ supply of inventory rose to 3.1, up 34.8% from 2.3.

Home prices continued climbing, with the average sales price increasing 1% in Randolph County, rising from $287,745 in 2024’s fourth quarter to $290,497. Asheboro’s average price rose 0.8%, from $286,768 to $288,992.

Median sales prices also experienced gains, with Randolph County’s median price rising 3.8%, climbing from $265,000 during 2024’s fourth quarter to $275,000. Asheboro’s median sales price increased 2.5%, rising from $256,000 to $262,450.

Randolph County homes averaged 38 days on market, up 11.8% from 34 days during the same time period in 2024. Asheboro homes averaged 31 days on market, no change from 2024’s fourth quarter.

316 homes sold in Randolph County, up 9.7% from 288 in 2024’s fourth quarter. 114 homes sold in Asheboro, a

6.5% increase from 107.
