Randolph County experiences increases across Key Metrics in 2026’s First Quarter Housing Market
Randolph County 2026 First Quarter Housing Stats
RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. – Increases in nearly every key metric highlighted Randolph County’s 2026 first quarter housing market.
Asheboro had 114 homes on the market, up 62.9 percent from 70 during the same time period in 2025. Randolph County saw 312 homes for sale, a 43.1% increase from 218.
New listings also increased, with Asheboro adding 129 homes, a 7.5% rise from 120 during 2025’s first quarter. Randolph County reported 385 new listings, up 13.2% from 340.
Asheboro’s months’ supply of inventory grew to 3.2, a 68.4% increase from 1.9 during the same time period in 2025. Randolph County’s months’ supply of inventory rose to 2.9, up 38.1% from 2.1.
The average sales price increased 0.6% in Randolph County, rising from $303,897 in 2025’s first quarter to $305,817. Asheboro’s average price rose 6.4%, from $291,646 to $310,393.
Randolph County’s median sales price rose 1.8%, climbing from $277,000 during 2025’s first quarter to $282,000. Asheboro’s median sales price increased 1.4%, rising from $269,900 to $273,750.

Asheboro homes sold for 98% of their original list price, a 1% increase from 97% during 2025’s first quarter. Randolph County homes sold for 97.9% of their original list price, a 0.4% increase from 97.5%.
Randolph County homes averaged 54 days on market, up 20% from 45 days during the same time period in 2025. Asheboro homes averaged 61 days on market, up 52.5% from 40 days.
98 homes sold in Asheboro, up 1% from 97 in 2025’s first quarter. 265 homes sold in Randolph County, a 1.9% decrease from 270.
