Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Association Mobilizes Volunteers to Support NAR’s REALTOR® Volunteer Days

Greensboro, NC (May 4, 2026) – This spring, real estate agents with the Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Association are rolling up their sleeves to host a Food Drive, contributing hands-on volunteer time and resources to address local needs in North Carolina’s Triad region.

Their efforts are part of NAR’s REALTOR® Volunteer Days, a nationwide initiative that highlights the real estate industry’s longstanding commitment to service and community impact. In partnership with the National Association of REALTORS®, local agents are joining colleagues across the country to give back where it matters most.

On Saturday, May 2, members in our REALTORS® Community Service Committee spent the morning collecting trash and bulk items at Mitchell Street Park, which is close to the Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Association building.

Currently, our REALTORS® Community Service Committee is hosting a Food Drive through the end of June, in which non-perishable foods are being collected at GRRA, to then stock food pantry shelves with.

“Across the country, 68% of all REALTORS ® volunteer monthly in their community. Giving back is part of who we are as both people and as professionals,” said 2026 GRRA President Bill Warmath. “Together with NAR, we encourage local REALTORS® who have a heart for service and a passion for giving back, to participate in our REALTORS® Community Service Committee’s Food Drive here in Greensboro."

As part of NAR’s REALTOR ® Volunteer Days, which will be held the week of May 30-June 7, NAR is encouraging associations, brokerages and REALTORS ® nationwide to organize and participate in a local volunteer activity of their choice.
