MOSAIC - April Meeting

MOSAIC - April Meeting

Monday, April 13, 2026 (3:00 PM - 4:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Attorney Q&A - Practical insights and open conversation on timely topics.

Good morning Mosaic Committee,

We hope you had a great Easter weekend, and enjoyed a little downtime!

For those who couldn't join us, we had a great Walk Downtown with The Mayor event a couple weeks ago.  Got a really nice tour of Marshall Muse Gallery with the owner, and then a personal tour of downtown and what's going on with the Mayor.  I've heard we actually walked 4 miles (and I believe it!), and we got some insight on things to come, and some projects that are slated downtown.   She has graciously agreed to do another one with us on the Greenway, so hopefully we can do that in the future.

Our April meeting is Talk with an Attorney, which will be next Monday April 13, from 3:00-4:00 pm. Our featured attorney is Adelia Schiffman with Schiffman Law Group, who is a real estate attorney.  Joining her will be 2 interns from Elon College who are currently interning with her.   We will have this session first, so please be on time and ready to go.  Our business meeting will be after this, and we will be discussing the Book Club with co-chair Jenn Dixon, and other projects we are involved with.  We will watch our time and promise not to keep the meeting too long.

I have some questions that we received before, but we may have time for a couple of open forum type questions, so keep those in mind when you get here.

Please register online at The Hub, or reach out to Barbara or Page with any questions on registering.

Have a great week ahead, and see you next Monday!

Jim, Jenn, Barbara, and Page

These meetings are held in person to foster an open atmosphere for communication and relationship building.
