Patricia Arriaga
About
Patricia “Patsy” Arriaga grew up in the real estate business. Her parents’ life-long commercial real estate career in Puerto Rico inspired her to follow in their footsteps and make a path for herself in the industry.
In addition to being an active player in the residential and commercial real estate industry, for over a decade Patsy owned a retail store chain and wholesale operation in Puerto Rico, which she franchised before heading to North Carolina. Since she landed in Greensboro over a decade ago, she has focused solely on real estate. Patsy has worked with multiple developers, investment and builder groups in the Triad area.
Patsy holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. She credits her Cuban-exiled parents for instilling in her a strong work ethic and firm moral values; qualities she says are extremely important in the real estate business. A drive to build relationships, overcome obstacles, solve problems and sit at the negotiating table to find solutions that work for her clients are some of the traits that Patsy believes have been essential throughout her career.
Although Patsy says she’s one of the lucky ones who actually do what they love for work, time with her family trumps all. She’s married to her husband for over 21 years, Luis Benitez, has two children, Luisma & Pakri and spoils her golden retriever and a cat. She enjoys playing racquetball, skiing, road biking, cooking and having a glass of wine while spending time with friends.
