Betty Smith

A life long resident of Guilford County,  I became a broker February 1975 and joined GRRA in August of 1975.

I have served on numerous committees for GRRA and served as a Director and/or officer for 25+ years.  I was President in 2009 and most recently served as chair of Professional Standards and Ethics committee in 2022. I have also been President of Greensboro Builders Association and Chairperson of Trebic. Real Estate has been my life career and I have enjoyed the many aspects of it.  I started my company Smith Marketing, Inc. in 2001 with my son, Jason Smith. In 2005, my oldest son, Jeff Smith, joined the company.  We have always featured new home sales and worked with developers and builders but in 2009, we joined Allen Tate and we added a division for general brokerage focusing on the listing and selling of existing homes.  We are 22 years strong and continue to enjoy all aspects of real estate and upholding the ethics and professional practices that make the industry so great.
