Being a Broker-in-Charge comes with significant responsibilities—and staying ahead of changing regulations, industry practices, and compliance expectations is essential.
The North Carolina Real Estate Commission continues to emphasize the importance of BIC oversight, required training, continuing education, and accountability for noncompliance. Commission Rule 58A .0110 also highlights the importance of maintaining written office policies and procedures that address key areas of brokerage operations.
This interactive, two-hour workshop is designed specifically for BICs and will include an overview of the new appraisal form, along with practical guidance on developing, reviewing, and implementing an effective office policies and procedures manual.
Topics will include:
- Agency Policies
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technology
- Advertising and marketing guidelines
- Team structures and supervision
- Compensation practices
- “Office” designations
- Broker competence and oversight
- Digital currencies and payment practices
- Fair Housing policies and implementation
In addition, NCAR representatives will be present to share Risk Management Tools available to BICs through NCAR.
