The four-hour Blueprint for Success: The Code of Ethics, Buyer Representation, and Your Value Proposition online course is designed to meet the continuing education in ethics curriculum requirements as well as the NAR Code of Ethics requirement. The chapters cover the purpose, structure, and applicability of the Code of Ethics with an in-depth look at Articles 1 and 3 against the backdrop of recent litigation aimed at the real estate industry’s cooperative compensation model. The course demonstrates how buyer representation and ethical practice are part of a licensee’s value proposition and provides perspective on how high ethical standards can be used when adapting to market changes. The course mixes presentation of facts, concepts, key terms, and real-life examples to illustrate the topics being taught, as well as videos and quizzes for self-assessment.

The Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Association is a not-for-profit trade association devoted to improving the business conditions of the real estate industry. GRRA meetings and events often include real estate professionals and other industry stakeholders who compete with each other or work for competing businesses. GRRA is committed to conducting all meetings and events in a professional, ethical, and lawful manner, including in adherence to all antitrust laws. To that end, the topics for this meeting will focus on advancing the interests of real estate professionals and consumers of real estate services, increasing competition, reducing risk for all parties involved in real estate transactions, and sharing insights on business best practices. The following discussion topics are always prohibited: agreements to fix prices, limit product or service offerings, allocate geographical territory or customers, and refuse to deal. Any discussion inconsistent with this policy will not be tolerated.
